Menno van Megen: international experience and passion for product development

On 1 January, Menno van Meegen joined Fancom in the role of Product Manager. Menno is 28 years old and lives in Beringe with his wife and their five-month-old son.

After completing his studies in International Business in 2017, during which he carried out his graduation project at Scheuten Glas in Venlo, Menno embarked on an international career. He moved to the UK for a two-year traineeship at Vodafone, after which he progressed to the role of Product Owner IoT. Due to the corona pandemic, he returned to the Netherlands, where he started work as Solutions Architect at VodafoneZiggo in Amsterdam.

Driven by his passion for product, strategy, vision and team development, Menno found a new challenge in the role of Product Manager at Fancom. Menno on his new role at Fancom: ‘I am very much looking forward to getting started as Product Manager at Fancom and translating our ideas and customer requirements into products that make the lives of our end users and their animals easier and better.’

Kris Pijnenburg: from Mechatronics Engineer to Product Manager

Also as of 1 January, Kris Pijnenburg has been promoted to Product Manager. Kris has been with Fancom since 2017 as Mechatronics Engineer and in that role he has played a key role in the development of the IF-145 Xtra, Intellitek Backout & Fantura Windhood. Kris is excited about his new position:
"Having played a role in Fancom's technical development as a Mechatronics Engineer for 7.5 years, I am very much looking forward to using this technical depth to strengthen the bridge between technology and our customers’ needs."
